In 2006, dozens of witnesses at Chicago's O'Hare International Airport reported seeing a mysterious disc-shaped object hovering above United Airlines Gate C17. Airport employees, pilots, mechanics, and passengers all described the same extraordinary event. Moments later, the object reportedly shot upwards, punching a circular hole through the cloud layer before disappearing.
Now, nearly twenty years later, another mystery has emerged.
A recently published paper from researchers at the Main Astronomical Observatory of the National Academy of Sciences of Ukraine claims to have detected unusual objects operating around the Moon. The paper goes further, suggesting these objects may represent advanced technology and even raises the possibility of a lunar base.
