This blue cloud was sighted around 1:00am on May 12, 2024 and the witness states " It lasted for about 3 min until we left the highway (93N Near Exit 8 Looking East.) I honestly would have followed it longer if I was driving but I was a passenge. I heard there was potential aurora last night but not sure where. The light looked too close for that and I would think it would be further up in the sky behind the cloud, not seemingly glowing from within." The witness added this " Firstly, my best explanation is just an artificial light catching this cloud at the right angle. It did persist for several minutes.
It most definitely a cloud and not a smoke plumb due to its consistent shape and slow moving nature
No music festivals we’re occuring. My best guess is just a weird glow from either a ground light or maybe the moon. Idk."
